To Mats, and everyone else who has kindly responded to my posting, thanks for your help! And to Mats, you are correct - I switched the A/T on after takeoff, and didnt set any mode (I dont think). Well I tried it with setting the mode, and setting cruise speed to Mach .78, and viola, maintained altitude and speed. Amazing how much stuff PMDG built into this thing. Thanks again everyone, and consider this one solved! Learn something new everyday! Josh
