September 23, 200421 yr I'm still using FS2002 so don't know if its improved on FS9, but why don't any of the flight sims give a decent push back mode where the aircraft turns properly. It seems that so much time and effort is spent of making a really good product yet this fairly fundamental action doesn't seem to work properly. Any chance of improving this in 737NGDave.
September 23, 200421 yr G'day Dave - there is a free add-on for PMDG's 737 - do an advanced search and you'll probably find it. My understanding is that it works well. Kind regards, Chardy (presently near YSCB in RL)
September 23, 200421 yr Hi DaveEtienne's gauge is designed for FS9 so probably won't work in FS02. However, do on search on avsim for rcbgh-32.zip and you'll find this is Rob Barendregt's pushback gauge which works with both FS02 and FS04. I used this all the time in FS02, it works really well.HTHPaul Croft10 miles SE of EGLL Paul Croft 15 mls north of EGKK
September 23, 200421 yr Thanks guys - I'll give it a try. I still wonder why such a basic action is missing from all of the flight sims . Not being a computer buff - is it difficult to include in a sim I wonder ?Sorry - I keep forgetting to sign out - is there some way of getting these messages to put your name at the end automaticaly ?Dave

September 24, 200421 yr Alternatively, go to www.mcdu.com and get FSCopilot. It includes a number of nifty features (it's freeware) including pushback.
