September 28, 200421 yr Just wondering how do you use the virtual Cabin? You need additional software?
September 28, 200421 yr For FS2002 it is, but in FS9 the guys got greedy and made it payware...but there's a demo version available for download that you can use around sea-tac.-Evan
September 28, 200421 yr Greedy? I believe they are like any other business that desires some compensation for the long hours of developing. It's not very expensive and certainly worth the price. Anticyclone are good guys. If they are greedy then so is every developer for any software and I tend to believe this is not the case for most of them. Just my opinion, you are entitled to yours though.Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution! September 29, 200421 yr i love active camera and believe it is well worth the money...but...if they desire compensation for their hard work...than why did they not ask for some with the fs2002 version......if they had always charged there would be no criticism..it is the inconsistancy that is the killer
September 29, 200421 yr My 2 pennies worth on this is....From what I can tell of AC2004 (from the demo) it is NOT worth that amount of money. All it does it change one or two camera position variables. Thats it. Probably the most complex thing it does is the motion sickness effect in the VC.Unfortunately I am not up on FS module programming, but if I was I dare say moving the camera around with the cursor keys is a childs play program.if (keypressed() == X) CamX = CamX + 1;if (CamX > CamXLimit) CamX = CamXLimit; It still bugs me why M$ didn't provide keys to "move" the camera anyway. I mean, being able to move the tower or spot camera with some assigned keys would have been awfully cool.
