Is there a way to programme in more realistic failures?I mean, the random function is a bit silly really. It tells you when it's going to happen.At one end of the spectrum it would be nice to have the engine fail between X and Y time.At the other end it would be nice to preprogramme the failures with values similar to any real world MTTF (mean time to failure) for components. As to how these would hold state through FS restarts I dont know. What I mean is you could play with the plane for months and have nothing happen, then lose an engine and a few bits of hydrulics the next flight. A "service" utility could reset all the failure counters back to 0.Is this just a pipe dream or is it implementable?
