October 4, 200421 yr I've noticed that while I receive an aural warning on altitude capture when CLIMBING in the 737NG(600-700), I receive none when DESCENDING to altitude. Is this as it should be, or do I have a problem(I mean with my installation :-))? If this is indeed as it should be, does anyone know why an aural warning is appropriate in one case and not the other? Many thanks,Frank
October 4, 200421 yr Frank,It's not as should be.Update to the latest version!Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 4, 200421 yr Hi Mats,I have the CD version of the 600-700 series, which is version 1.3, and the latest, AFAIK?Or did you mean I should upgrade to the 800-900 series? Thanks,Frank
October 4, 200421 yr Frank,I thought this was corrected in the 1.3 version but I could be wrong here. Anyways. You should consider upgrading to the 800/900. There are no general issues with upgrading. Not with autoland or anything. The installer apparently can go beserk sometimes. Leaving out some gauges that makes people unable to click some switches.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 4, 200421 yr Hi Mats,It does! My ONLY reason for hesitating was sporadic reports that upgrading to the 800-900 series had caused some problems for the 600-700 series. I think it's now time to go ahead and take the plunge. Clickable VC, TCAS, Chrono, here I come :-).BR,Frank
