October 9, 200421 yr I seem to be frequently getting the Microsoft error report CTD. I have turned off error reporting in System, but it still keeps occuring! Any answers welcome.

October 9, 200421 yr Hi Lefteris,I've done some digging on this and found what may be the problem. It was not PMDG related, it happened whatever plane I flew. It seems that there is a common problem called seasonal change or something like that, to do with when you go from summer to autumn etc. I was geting the ctd's when I loaded cetain weather themes, usually depicting winter. The error text said fs9 scenery.cfg, fs9.cfg and dx9 were involved.Reading the blurb about the new fs9/1 patch, that apparently solves the bug.Many thanks
October 10, 200421 yr Commercial Member Yeah...I remember way back when we were still beta testing, one of our beta testers (was it you Mats? or was in Andrew? can't remember!) reported a CTD that was quite reproducible, but only if you flew a particular flight plan.The debugger would not give me ANY useful information, as there was a bad stack corruption, so I was bashing my head on the wall for three days straight trying to figure out what was causing this on our bird...Turned out it was FS after all... (I remember the relief). I wisened up after that and asked all beta testers to fly the same route with another plane before reporting a CTD again... :-) Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
