Hey there everyoneI have just installed the sim and it is currently up to the 1.3 ver. When I first installed it and followed the intro flight it was fine, however, since then I have not been able to start up the 1st (RH) engine and was hoping that you guyz might be able to help me out as to why this is?? I have followed all the instructions in the manual for start up. Also, on T/O I have this alarm going when I advance the power levers until I get airbourne and retract the gear. These are probably easily fixed but I hope that you more experienced folks will be able to offer some advice for a person new to the PMDG sim. I am a qualified Turbo Prop Pilot hopeful of getting on the jets and am finding myself more and more facinated with the progress of FS2004 and PMDG. Thanx in advance.

Hello there Ms/Mr (please see the forum rules about signing the posts with your real name)Well, as a pilot I'm sure you know that RTFM is essential! I think both of these issues are somewhat addressed there. ;-) But anyhoo...For the R ENG to start check that you have bleed air on the R side of the ISO VLV.The alarm you are hearing is the TOCWS (Take-Off Configuration Warning System). Check the below:- Flaps in TO position, not up or landing- STAB TRIM in TO area (not simulated)- PARK BRK OFFAlso make sure you don't arm the speed brakes before TO. Should be in the DOWN detent. Don't know if this is part of the TOCWS checks.Hope it helps,

Just to clarify...Can you start the #2 engine? Because if you can, that would sure be odd.

HeyJust a clarification...In the title you say you can't start the port engine which would be the left engine. But in the message you right you can't start the right hand engine. That would be the starboard engine and my tip regarding the isolation valve is with regards to having trouble starting the starboard engine.Cheers,
