October 12, 200421 yr Hello fellow simmers..I have a couple of questions i know someone will know the answers to..1.When i am programming my FMC and stood at the ramp am i right in saying i find out my dept runway from tuning into the ATIS of the dept airport?and will this also give me my wind speed...so i can input it into the FMC too?2.How do i adjust the clock in the FMC?Mine now says 1709.8z 10/12....what does this interpret please..??3. How do i load in a saved flight plan within the FMC....I Have saved a couple of flights to help me when programming the FMC For a flight so i dont have to input all the legs/waypoints but i am not sure now how to activate it once i have pressed the Relevant LSK next to the flight it does not load in all the legs/dept/arr airports or anything...i must be doing something wrong that much i do know. Many thanksRegards Paul Teasdale
October 12, 200421 yr 1) Yes ATIS is a good place to start but remember the weather can change. ATC will confirm the departure runway when clearance is received or when taxi instructions are given. If you are not using ATC, then ATIS or AWOS or any weather report will do because as PIC you are deciding what the departure runway is. :-)2) You need to adjust the FS9 clock within the "Time of Day" menu.3) Go into the index menu and select the navdata (or navinfo) page in the FMC (sorry I am at work and doing this from memory). On that page you will find an option to list saved flight plans. Once the flight plans are listed, press the corresponding button to load the flight plan name into the scratchpad. Now go to the INIT page where you load the departure and arrival airports and select the CO ROUTE. This should load the saved flight plan. George Morris
