October 17, 200421 yr greetings;i will get right to the point - whenever i attempt to start up the 737NG 600/700 from a cold/dark situation, i follow the documentation included with the software; the right engine starts up just fine, however, the left engine will just make that infuriating ignition sound, with the engine starting up about halfway then just dying, then trying all over again. I refuse to resort to 'Ctrl+E' as i do not pay $30 or whatever it is to follow the improper way.HELP!
October 17, 200421 yr Hi mr. HELP!You might want to have a peek at the forum rules. Are you sure it's the left engine that doesn't start for you? All these engine problems has been related to the right engine and is due to the isolation valve being closed and thus no bleed air for the starter for the right engine.Otherwise I would suggest you check:- fuel present- fuel pumps on- respective start lever in idle- bleed air pressure in respective duct- fire handles down- no failures setHope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 17, 200421 yr Sorry about the not signing the letter :SI made sure all the things you said were done except this one:>> - bleed air pressure in respective ductI am sort of a newbie... what is APU and what is this bleed air and recirc fan etc. I could not find info in the documentation, but i am quite sure it isnt this anyway as i followed the readme exactly.+ When i turn on standby power it makes this intolerable constant beep for ages :(HELP :(-Alex
