AIRAC Cycles and SIDS & STARS

Featured Replies

A couple of questions about these please if anyone can help.Up until now I have only used the original nav data or downloaded Simon's All in One from his very useful website. This time I thought I'd update form the PMDG site and have a couple of problems I'm not sure about.I've just downloaded the latest Airac cycle (4/10/2004) and the the latest SID/STAR from PMDG. I installed as per the instructions and the SID/STARS I manually put in the FS2002/PMDG/SIDSTAR sub-folder. The self extracting Airac stuff went into a new sub-folder under the FS root directory like this:-Microsoft Games |Flight Simulator 2002 |FMCWP |Navdata.I think this is correct ?The problem I now have is that when I tried to program a flight to Glasgow (EGPF) from EGLL I get an error saying:-EGPF err : GLG 49 unknown. Also when I tried a flight from EGGW to LEMH none of the airways shown in the Routefinder details (UN733/UM976/UN853) are recognised (error message:- NOT IN DATABASE).1.Have I done something wrong please and how do I correct it?2.What's the difference between the PIC-PMDG_04.zip and PMDG_SIDSTARS_0410.zip and the PMDG_AO1.zip. Which ones do I really need please ?Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
