October 28, 200421 yr Hi - silly question for those of you in the know I know but how do I find the ILS Nav frequency to put into my nav1 & 2 radio stack?I ask because I recently downloaded the 100 pmdg flight plans and flew from Luton to Palma de Mallorca with a given runway that was not ils prefixed, but enroute the fs9 atc vectored me for an ils runway for which I couldn't find the frequency. This hasn't happened before as I've always initially chosen an ils runway for landing and somehow or other the frequency has been available on the fmc but try as I might this time I couldn't find it nor could I remember where/what page on the fmc this information usually appears. Please helpCheersRick
October 29, 200421 yr Hi Rick,Go into Map mode in FS9(from the top bar menu), find your airport and click on it to get the ILS freqs. You'll need to be somewhere near the airport(you could just position yourself there before you start your flight), else the small map is tough to negotiate.BR,Frank
October 29, 200421 yr Rick, The ILS frequency will appear on the App Ref page. See this manual for further information.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/file_libra..._678900_V14.pdf George Morris
October 29, 200421 yr Thanks boys - the next flight to Madrid was perfect - I chose an ILS runway to start with and as I got nearer my destination it showed the nav frequency.Rick
October 29, 200421 yr Welcome, Rick.It is, of course, easier to get the information from the FMC, as described by George.BR,Frank
