CH Yoke and Pedal Sensitivities

Featured Replies

I'm wondering how some of you have your set up. I haven't been simming very much, but got bored tonight and was playing around with the axis sensitivities. <--- That word never looks right to me, even though I know I spelled it right, LOL.Anyhow, in the sim, when I fly the various GA add-ons they are too responsive to every input, and this makes it hard to fly, IMO. Some have even said it's not realistic to have 100% or close to 100% for some of these axes.I decided to lower some of them, especially ailerons, rudder, and elevator. Did a little tweaking with the mixture and prop, but that doesn't apply to the PMDG NG or other jets, of course. I took the RealAir Scout and DF Cessna 177 up for a test and was pretty much satisfied with my results so far. (Only GAs, no heavies yet)My problem is, last time I tried this, the PMDG NG was pretty unresponsive, especially the elevator, and thus it was difficult to rotate, IMO. It's late and I'm tired, so I will have to finish messing with it tomorrow, but I'm wondering how some of you have things set up? Do you have a 'profile' for heavies and one for GAs?After watching some of the cockpit videos, I can see that the yoke is really moved alot, yet the plane doesn't jump all over. I'd like to make it where all my planes are easier to hand fly and stabilize on approach. Thanks

I have the USB C & H rudder and yoke setup. I found the C & H setup application didn't work as well for me as the regular MS setup in control panel. It screwed up the hat switch besides.I followed the procedure in control panel and have had no problems since. Also you have some fine tuning you can do in FS9 setting/ hardware I think. Stuff like dead zones etc.Other than the above I have no problems whatsoever with the yoke and pedals. It's just a matter of adjustment. You will enjoy them once they are setup properly.Regards
