What is the best 727 and 737 classic for FS2002?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.I planned to paint B737(classic) and B727.would sombody please tell me what is/are the best(free to repaint) available models.

The only good 727-100 and -200 is the model by Kevin Trinkle. It's an FS2000 FSDS model. It looks very good and has a good amount of detail and nicely done flaps. unfortunately, there are some minor display issues in FS2002, specifically with the night textures on the tail and the cockpit window textures when the landing lights are on. I find them just about bearable to still enjoy the aircraft in FS2002. Here is a pic of two of my repaints of both version. Many varieties should be available both here at avsim and at flightsim.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d2da22a0b234e5e.jpghttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d2da3250de2af06.jpgIn my personal opinion, the best 737-200 is the model created by Terry Gaff. It has the greatest amount of detail and very large high resoultion textures which make repainting a joy.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d2da2cd0cefb8a4.jpgAgain, numerous repaints are available. There is also a GMAX model by Yeodesigns (http://yeod.topcities.com), but I find it lacks detail in many areas. Cheers,Misha

Keep in mind however Yeodesigns are coming out with version 2 soon.Hard to believe no one is bringing out a new 727 though!Cheers,Boone
