November 8, 200421 yr Hello:I hate asking what are simple questions that seem to take hours of time trying to sort out.Flying the 737-800, I find that the spoilers (is that their real name?)do not deploy on landing. Autobrakes are set and the throttle is armed. Perhaps I have accidently adjusted something in the overhead panel - as I am still coming to grips with the cold and dark start. Everything was fine until today.Any ideas? Many thanks.....Iain

November 8, 200421 yr >Any ideas? Many thanks.....Iain I'll just add one thing to what's already been covered: make sure that you're throttles are at zero thrust. I have the throttles armed, using shft-7 to pop them up - then pull the arm down with the mouse. That makes sure the selector is down. When low and slow on short final, and I have the runway in site, I kill A/T A/P, and on contact I hit F1 to close the throttles, then hit F2 to engage reverse-thrust. Works everytime.

November 9, 200421 yr Thanks. I did a search and did not find the links Randy. Oh and Tim, yes the green light is on, throttles are armed (down part way), auto brake set to 2 and throttle brought to idle before touch down. I read with interest Randal's links and will pursue some of the ideas suggested. Thanks again.............Iain
