Resizing the FMC etc

Featured Replies

I asked this the other day on the back of an answer to something else - probably the reason I didn't get any response !!. Anyway, previously I was told by a helpful forum member that to resize the FMC I needed to right click on it, 'undock' the view and then resizwe by dragging on a corner. I tried this but the 'undock' option is greyed out so it won't work. Can I change this please ?737-600/700FS2002

You need to be in window mode, for the undock to be active... FS Full Screen mode doesn't have it.

Thank you - its these little qwerks that have you tearing your hair out.

There are numerous threads on this in this forum....search for FMC or resize FMC or somesuch.....I found the answer, and I think the answer was to amend the panel.cfg file of the relevant acft to this....//--------------------------------------------------------[Window06] // PMDG_CDU_PANELfile=737NGFMC.bmp file_1024=737NGFMC.bmp size_mm=400,600position=8visible=0ident=25//window_pos= 0.000, 0.000gauge00=PMDG_737NG_Main!CDU, 0,0,400,600,LI'm pretty sure this is the answer, resizes the FMC and moves it to the bottom right hand corner.Caveat Emptor.... most of my amendments are carried out late in the evening, with the appropriate alcohol factor and yes, I know I should keep notes... but hey, I'm sure I'll remember how I did that in the morning..... !cheerstuppyChris TrippOrstralia
