December 2, 200421 yr Hi I was thinking about getting a touch screen monitor for christmas the main reason for that was for flightsim (PMDG to be specific) I was wondering if the FMC was un-dockable so I could display it on the touch monitor would that work? I have the whole 737NG fleet incase the upgrade to the 800/900 made a difference at all. Thanks a lot in advance. anyone with a touch screen that can recomend a good one? Thanks in advanceTyler

Thanks in advance>>>TylerThe FMC is indeed undockable, and since there are no "right-click" actions on the FMC, this should work very well with a touchscreen. That said, I'm not sure about multi-monitor touchscreens, how the touchscreen driver gets "taught" about the multiple monitors are laid out.
December 3, 200421 yr Author Ok thanks a lot Timothy....I forgot about the fact that I would be using multiple monitors...I dont want to use just the touchscreen because it is only about an 8 inch....just enough for the FMC....lol I cant decide if I should get a touch screen or a new graphics card the one I have now is just a stock one that comes with the computer which is a 2001 emachines T1360 and I'm running PMDG I have every setting on low and when I am in spot view i get about 7 FPS...but I'm used to it. any suggestions on what to get? thanks Tyler
