Deal PMDG,I would learn to start 737-800/900 from a so called "cold & dark" cockpit. Can you suggest me a good step by step tutorial? I have the Metzinger V2 tutorial (very well done) but it is not so easy for me to understand the correct sequence to follow.Am I obliged to use the Cessna C172 for the default FS9 flight in order to have the cockpit "cold & dark"? Do a search for Fred Claussen's 2.0 tutorial - that's how I learned to start the NG from a cold and dark cockpit - it's a very easy tutorial to understand and gives good screen shots and explanations...search on the avsim file library and you should find it.

Skim through the documentation included with the 737 before you do the tutorials, as this will help your understanding greatly. It did for me :)Alex
