December 16, 200421 yr A few friends and I, (we live in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia), are interested in maybe building a 747 or 777 simulator (not motion, just a cockpit)Could anyone give me any estimates on price etc. for gauges, and especially, where we could maybe pick up some old panels for a 747 or how we could build them from scratch.__Alex Hnarakis

December 16, 200421 yr In addition to the above comments,Price depends on how realistic and how much work you want to put into it. You could do it for less than $5,000 by utilizing equipment provided by companies like Precision Controls http://www.flypfc.com/ Or you could spend much more by going directly to the scrap dealers, picking up actual equipment and integrate it yourself. For additional ideas, make sure you check out Project Magenta's site and don't miss this specific URL: http://www.projectmagenta.com/references.html George Morris
