after i have made my new computer, i formated my hd and reinstaled everithing.my new cpu is P4 3.0E with D865PERL.Whem i open the overhead and click any button, the soun of the turbine go away and return very quicly, just the time i click any buton.i am using the original soundmax that come in the motherboard.regards,sandro becker

Sounds like you need a driver update. Check the motherboard vendors website for update drivers. FYI, some motherboard based sound cards are pretty limited in thier capability.
