After landing at an airport after completing a route. How do you reset the FMC to begin planning another route. Example I Flew from KPHX to RJAA to WITT I had to stop in RJAA to get Fuel that's all I needed to do but I didn't know how to reset the FMC. There has to be a way to do this without selecting an new Aircraft. Someone Please help this is fustrating.

you can achieve parts of this by simply going to the RTE 1/x page, then pressing DELETE and then pressing the 1LSK(DEP aerodrome ICAO) normally this clears the entire routing however as long as you don't change aircraft, the performance initialisation information will not change. So you need to re enter those in perf init anyway.This should be sufficient.Greetings and best wishes!

In addition to the above post, you can just enter new depature and arrival airports and the FMC will clear the previous route and initialize.Also try doing a search, there a few other posts on this which can provide some helpful hints on flying a multi-segment route.
