January 27, 200521 yr Hi,regarding FMC...it depends on your flight plan...but let assume you've done all the flight planning and you're cleared for your descent into your destination airport.From the DEP/ARR page, select ARR then select the appropriate STAR/Transition (if available) and the appropriate Rwy with ILS, execute then go to LEGs page and clear any discontinuity.Goto INIT REF page, you should see the rwy selected /leght/app crs/ILS frequency. Select your landing flap (normally for autoland is 40), do not touch the wind correction (+5 is always used in autoland procedures 'cause the system will correct for any wind shift: note that you've limits for wind conditions in autoland !), remember that your Vref (to be put in the MCP window on finals) will be the V flaps (30 or 40) + 5 kts.And for the FMC part you're done !For the procedural part: assume you're nicely vectored on a suitable intercept heading to the rwy (no more than 45
