January 31, 200521 yr Just curious as to whether the FMC in real life (or our simulted one)has the capability based upon entered data to compute the required takeoff roll. I can't find anything about it, but I would presume it should be able to with the weight, temperature, altitude, and barometric settings as input.Thanks-
January 31, 200521 yr Not that I am aware of. There is the RWY POS UPD for displaced threshold entries and contaminated entries on the TO REF page for wet/dry and slope etc. Performance data is in the FPPM and pilots have charts for lengths on all availible rwys.. It's not like you will ever see a large aircraft taking off from a small rwy that is used mainly for GAs..
Randy J. Smith
Randy J Smith
