February 1, 200521 yr Hello, you will need to read the forum rules regarding signing one's name to your posts for PMDG's help on this forum, thank you and welcome. The ERR issue happens at certain airfields but certainly just a "few" and can be fixed. You must make sure that you have sids & stars are put into your C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTARSfolder. Also note that not every single airfield is covered, most United States are but EU are not. One can make procedures though for any airfield and you can ask here for a certain field that others might have already done.
Randy J. Smith
Randy J Smith
February 1, 200521 yr Hi there "What's your name">Any way like the tutorial says i updaed my SIDs and STARs and>downlaoded AIRAC 0501 so why am i getting this error i haveThat error is generally caused by using the default SIDs and STARs that came with the 737NG. You did not mention where you got the cycle 0501 SIDs/STARs update but it looks like you either only got the AIO file at navdata.at or installed the SIDs/STARs into the wrong folder. So just in case, go to either http://home.sw.rr.com/filesherenow/index.html or the PMDG site and download the 0501 cycle of the terminal procedures (SIDs/STARs). Inside that zip file you will find two files, "Read This First.TXT" and "Updating Terminal Procedures explained.txt". Please read them both to find out how to install and update future navdata and terminal procedures.RegardsTerry
February 2, 200521 yr Hi,From the snapshots you posted it seems to me that your installation of the Airac and Sids/Stars is correct otherwise the FMC would not give you this kind of error message.Having said that, I checked two different procedures for EDDF and both are working perfectly (no error message). The two procedures I tested are the one from Terry's package and the one you can find at Navdata. I am wondering whether you are using another procedure file for EDDF or if you modified one of the two above mentioned files. As far as EDDL is concerned you may want to note that there is no procedure for EDDL in Terry's package but there is one working OK at NavData. It may help to download that one.For the record here are the links where you can download Terry's procedures package and NavData:http://www.precisionmanuals.com/http://home.sw.rr.com/filesherenow/index.htmlhttp://www.navdata.at/Cheers,Michael
