You could if you had to fly to the destination at VMO/MMO with the Landing Gear down. Might be a little noisy and require more fuel.No to question number two in a real 737NG. The GS should stay engaged but you'll have the Landing Gear warning horn eventfully going off and staying on until the Landing gear is down and locked.Floyd John Floyd
