LCD displays AMD v P4

Featured Replies

Hi all, I am looking to upgrade to a 19" LCD and i am not quite sure what sort i should get. Now i know that the 12ms-25ms response time is a main factor but what is good in terms of response time? Can someone please help me... And what is the real difference in performance FS9 wise in regards to AMD64 v P4? Please help meKind RegardsSteele AUstralia

The lower the better in terms of response time.Though 16 and down you won't notice much difference. As far as CPUs go, AMD 64bit provide better game performance.

Something else to consider when purchasing an LCD screen. It's just been announced by Samsung that all LCD Monitors purchased from Jan 1 2005 onwards, will have a six month Zero Dead Pixel policy. That means if you notice even just one in the first six months of ownership, Samsung will replace the whole monitor free of charge.Way to go Samsung! You might want to confirm with Samsung Australia whether they're going to do that. That was an announcement from Samsung - North America.Regards,
