February 28, 200521 yr Hi allWhat can I do to get any of the 737's to use the wing tanks?None of them do and I get the fuel critical warning from FS9 when the centre tank gets low.Help as it's annoying me now.Chris HayKNT0113G
February 28, 200521 yr did you switch on the fuel pumps for the wing tanks on the overhead panel ?Steve
March 1, 200521 yr I don't do cold and dark as the 2 tutorials I have done, miss out on a few steps (or seem too) as I never get electrical power whatsoever to start the engines.I did notice that the cross feed pump was turned off and when I turned that on the wing tanks started to be used once the centre tank went empty.Thought the centre tank was used last in real life?Chris HayKNT0113G
March 1, 200521 yr Hi Chris,"I never get electrical power whatsoever to start the engines."Just make sure the APU is on before you attempt to start the engines, and you will have all the electrical power you need(there are other options for starting the engines, but lets not get complicated)."Thought the centre tank was used last in real life?"No, it's centre tank first, then wing tanks. This is to reduce the bending moment on the wings due to weight of fuel in the centre tank.BR,FrankPS If you want a good "cold & dark" tutorial, send me an email.
