March 1, 200521 yr Hi Captains! As we know that, the PMDG B1900D has the overhead panel just in "with VC" version. In the simply 2D panel version all the light swithces are placed to the lower midle and lower right corner. This size is not enough to show the gauges in good size for readout. I think. So, I made an optional overhead panel in 2D for this buttons/gauges. The photoreal base bitmap is extened by some graphical elements for look like a real panel not just a cutted image on the screen. All the light switches are integrated into the bitmap in good quality. With some minor changes the mainpanel has updated too (like the removed light switches). And it has a real throttle panel too with the trim knobs and the flaps indicator. The "lower panel" has some changes too for show more infos (like DME, OMI lights)The pack is in a ZIP, just with the full modified panel.cfg, the new overhead bitmap, the throttle bitmap, and an optional radioaltimiter gauge. It DOES NOT CONTAIN any original gauge or any original bitmap, YOU NEED THE PAYWARE B1900D from the author for use. Without this, you see just empty bitmaps without functionality. But now, I have to question.1, With this information about the ZIP, is it legal to share on AVSIM???2, Is here anybody, who is interested for this panel upgrade???I'm waiting for some offical PMDG opinions too.best: Zsolt
March 1, 200521 yr Commercial Member Hi ZsoltThis type of user modification is fine to upload. As long as you don't include any original PMDG material, like gauge files (.gua) or PMDG Panel bitmaps.. We have no objection. You should make it clear, however, that PMDG does not support these types of modifications, and if problems arise, we will offer no support beyond recommending a reinstall of the airplane.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
