PMDG background panel colors....

Featured Replies

Hello guys, I just wanted to ask the PMDG staf if it were possible to update PMDG so it can be able to change the colors of the background gauges as the real airliners do from time to time. Namely the background gauges of the autopilot windows and the color of the PFD, ND and EICAS. Somehow I feel i am not explaining myself properly so In brief theres a number of pics on airliners.net that show 738 cocpits with a reddish or bluish color in the autopilot background gauges - I would like to know if PMDG could be updated to mimick this.thanx.Gideon

Gideon,To my knowledge there is no real-world option to change the background colors of the DUs. What I think you are seeing are the LCD shimmerings and reflections when photographed from different angles.Hope it helps,

Sure GideonJust click on the http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/110387.gif symbol and mail away!Yes. DU is short for Display Unit. You can find 6 of them in the NG Captains Outer and Inner, Upper and Lower in the middle and F/Os Inner and Outer.Cheers,
