July 15, 200223 yr Hi Aniette:Please excuse me if I mis-spelled your name. I have been absent from AVSIM for about 6 months now, but am slowing getting back to flying. My summer hobby is involved with my Miata and road racing! A couple of weeks ago I also saw the file on AI taxi speeds. I didn't have time to d/l it and when I went back to the library to try and find it, it was nowhere to be found. It looks like from other posts that you might have this file on your HD. If so, could you kindly e-mail to me also as I have always thought the taxi speeds of the AI are way below normal speed.Lived in Maine for a number of years and developed some great friendships with a number of French Canadiens. Great laughs from great people. My e-mail address is either:1. [email protected] or [email protected] Thanks for your help.Chris

July 15, 200223 yr Sorry to ask this guys, but does this resolve the issue of so many go arounds in the big airports?Sometimes I see a GA taxing down the active, for such a long time that It drives me crazy, while a lot of Airliners have to go aroud. If I tweak the taxi speed in the active, would that affect the regular taxi speed in the taxiways, I don't want that my favorite airports look like an F1 circuit!!Thanks in advance, hope that somebody that has already tweaked that give me an answer.
July 15, 200223 yr There is only one taxi speed for both runways and taxiways - you have to make a compromise. It does help them get off the runways faster, though. Overlay airports (using more than one runway) helps even more though.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
