172 panel appears on 1900C

Featured Replies

I downloaded the Air Lab, DHL, and fedex liveries. When i select AIr Lab livery all is good. If i select the other 2 liveries i get the default C172 panel.

I have the same problem. Passenger panel seems ok, cargo and freight panels are half the screen size on the pmdg liveries and on the fedex/dhl they default to the last opened panel (default c172 panel).long time fan of pmdgDave

Captains,We have been unable to reproduce either of these issues. That being said, I personally have encountered this annoying MSFSism in the past, and have found that the problem is temporary, and usually disappears after restarting MSFS.If all esle fails, I find these quirks can often be remedied by detleting your FS9.cfg file (backup first please) and allowing MSFS to rebuild it.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Thanks for your quick response. A little more trouble shooting and I have them working ok now. I just deleted the panel.cfg alias files and replaced them with the files they pointed to. Seems to work for me...Dave

I found the error. If you go into the PMDG Express B1900C-Freight fold and then open up the panel.cgo fold. Open the panel.cfg file and it says[fltsim]alias=PMDG Express B1900C Cargopanel.cgoWell the PMDG Express B1900C Cargo folder does not exist so it loads the Default C172.Put the DASH between the B1900C Cargo like this B1900C-Cargo and now THAT folder does exist so now it knows where to find the proper panel.cfg.

monsoon, Thanks. Feel kinda embarassed that I missed it, knew it had to be something simple. Got it all working now.Dave
