How do i stop the program for loading Ariac sid/stars every time i load my aircraft i wish to do this manually...regards robin

Robin,What you see is the loading of the basic database of navigational aids and data for the FMC and SID/STAR database. This is essential for the FMC to work correctly so this needs to be done. Regarding loading of SID/STAR. The FMC loads any procedures files when you enter DEP and ARR airports on the RTE page. What you do manually is to select a SID/STAR from the already loaded databases.Hope it helps,
