May 19, 200521 yr To free up some resources this is very important with ati cards so it gets rid of some terrain blurs and the text and airline name and paint lines don't shake or dance on the exterior texture. Theory behind it is the textures are presently 32 bits without mips while on ati cards whatever texture has no mips it will not alias it, therefore saving it in dxt3 with mips helps alot.So if you did which textures did you convert from which folder??Thanks!
May 19, 200521 yr When I used an ATI vid card I had to change the mipmap slider to under 4.The buildings were spinning around like a kids top.Best
