PMDG-700: FMC: "Time error tolerance ", RTA-WPT?

Featured Replies

Hi,I`ve a problem concerning programming the FMC on my PMDG737-700:When I entered all necessary data (Origin, destination, FL, N1, Route legs, Perf etc.) there will be a kind of an "error-message" on the 2nd PAGR of the *PERF* Page (ACT Perf. Limits) that says:"Time error tolerance - 30 sec. at RTA Waypoint (WPT)"What does that error message exactly mean? I don`t understand what the FMC wanna say to me...:)So, first of all what is the RTA-WPT, what is the "problem" and finally of course what do I have to do in order to avoid that error message? Many thanks in advance! :)Have a great day...GreetingsSusan

Susan,Are you sure you're not watching a static message? I didn't think the RTA functionality was implemented in the NG and I'm having a hard time thinking this would have slipped the beta team unnoticed! ;-)Without getting into it too deep the RTA will basically tell you how well you are doing time-wise.A screenie perhaps?Cheers,
