PMDG&Active Camera: Internal Cabin view is not working...

Featured Replies

Hi,now, after installing PMDG737-600, -700 (Version 1.3), -800,-900 (Service Update 1) and active-camera (registered)I want to use the active-camera internal view of the virtual cabin of the -700,800 or -900.But no way! Everything I try is so far without any success...I`m using FS2004, FSUIPC (3.48 registered)...here is what I tried: I`m choosing the "Virtual *+* Cabin" of one of the PMDG-aircrafts. Then I am switching to the Virtual-cockpit of the PMDG aircraft and after that I enable the internal cabin view. Then I press the key-combo for walking forward, backward etc, which I defined in the Active-Camera Keyassignment menu before due to a keystroke-conflict with WinXP-Keys etc...but, as I said, no way...I am NOT(!) walking/going through the virtual cockpit...So my question: What do I have to do in order to walk through the virtual cabin of my PMDG-plane...? It seems like Active-camera does not recognize my keytroke-commands for "internal-cabinview-walkthrough" at all! (...but e.g. when I press Command+Shift+F5 = Active-Camera-Setup-Menu the corresponding Active-Camera Setup-menu pops up without any problem...I don`t understand that at all...:-) :-) :-)Do you have any ideas how to solve that PMDG-Active Camera Problem? Many thanks in advance...:)Cheerio...Susan

hi there Susan.Well,I am using exactly the same thing as you, although my key mapping for moving in the aircraft is the default that comes with activecamera, and works with zero problem.Just a though:If you have assigned your moving keys to the numeric keypad of your keyboard, make sure to have "num lock" off(or is it on??).Hope I helped.Regards_______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________

Hi Georgios, thanks for your help: Well, I have the Num block (numeric keypad) lock on/off (tried both)

Did you try to test ActiveCamera with other aircrafts?BTW, if you are using FS9.1 there is an update AND a fix for Active Camera on their website, both of which are needed when running FS9.1.Go check it out.If that doesn't solve it,uninstall ActiveCamera and reinstall it,and if that doesn't work either, drop a line to their support.Good luck.Regards,_______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________

Hi Georgios, many, many thanks for your kind help, it worked with the tips you gave me! :)I forgot to install the Update for FS9.1....Wea,...I am getting old...:)Have a nice sunday...GreetingsSusan

Susan,I move through the cabin by using the mouse wheel. Try that if you have one?----------------------------------------------------------------Right, should I do another quick lap of the old Nurburgring circuit with 'GT4' or go flying?Dave T.
