June 18, 200520 yr I set up the aircraft for flight taxi out onto the runway set power and start rolling. When i reach 80kts a notice appears at the top of my screen "PMDG Notification: CG not within tolerance aircraft unflyable" once this notice appears in a green banner i am unable to rotate. If anyone know how to rectify this problem it will be greatly appreciated.ThanksJohn
June 18, 200520 yr Hi there John.As far as I know, this message pops up if you try to use the NG panel with another aircraft or model,or fiddle too much with the aircraft configuration files.Apart from that,I can't really think of anything else that might be causing it.Maybe a reinstallation of the NG might help.Kind Regards._______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________
November 17, 201015 yr I had the same the problem with the getting the notification after I merged POSKY Model with the PMDG Panel & FDE, until I managed to find a solution. It may not work for everyone but it has worked for me, and I take no responsibility for any faults that may occur.1st. I renamed the folder in which the aircraft was stored. I renamed it os_boeing-nc_738W - Same name as the posky B737-800 base folder.2nd. I also found that how you name the aircraft in the [fltsim.XX] section of the aircraft.cfg is another factor in stopping the 'CG Notification' from happening. For example - Here is the first aircraft in my [fltsim.XX] section:[fltsim.0]title=PMDG 737-800 SBIsim=B737-800WLmodel=WLpanel=sound=texture=SBIatc_id_color=0xffffffffatc_id=VP-BQFatc_airline=Siberiaatc_flight_number=S7737atc_parking_types=GATE, RAMP, CARGOatc_parking_code=SBIui_manufacturer=Boeingui_type=737-800ui_variation=S7 - Siberia Airlinesdescription=Boeing 737-800. Powered with CFM56-7B26 engines v 1.1\nPrecision Manuals Development Group\nwww.precisionmanuals.com \n\nProduced under license from Boeing Management Company.\n\nBoeing 737, 737-600 & Boeing are among the trademarks owned by Boeing.visual_damage=0atc_heavy=0kb_reference=PMDG737NG_REFkb_checklists=PMDG737NG_CHECKI noticed, that if I named the sections that are in bold anything else I would get the 'CG Notification'. Make sure they are pretty much the same as that in terms of layout. Obviously, if you wish to merge the 600/700/900, then apply logic and rename it accordingly.3rd. And finally, the other problem that I found was that I could only have one variant of that particular aircraft available after entering flight sim. If you include the name of the texture folder in the title page it allowed more than one variant to be displayed. E.g. 'title=PMDG 737-800 SBI'Any feedback would be great.I'll send anyone my full aircraft.cfg if you wish, just pm me. I am not responsible for the merge, but the merge for the B737-800 can be found here at avsim: POSKY/PMDG MergeKind regardsStuart
November 18, 201015 yr Well, it shows he used the search engine before posting, which is good.Stuart, there is a specific section for the 737 here http://forum.avsim.net/forum/354-pmdg-737-ng/ where you're likely getting more help. Also remember to sign your full name or your posts might be deletedNow let's let this thread rest in peace once and for all hehe
November 18, 201015 yr Apologies guys (Newbie Alert) Yes you are right, I did do a search......I searched every forum on this topic I think exists!!!!! and I was still unable to find the solution to the 'CG Notification' problem when merging posky's and pmdg's 737 :(.After two months of trying to figure it out, I finally solved my problem and thought I would share it with others. I hope it helps anyone who has had or is currently having a problem with the merge.Happy flying I'll let this topic now RIP :(
