MSFS on CNN this morning

Recommended Posts

It was good to see MSFS 2002 in a positive light on CNN for a change. They had a demonstration this morning on how easy it was to create add-ons for games, discussing what communities really do to enhance various software out there. At any rate, they created a "Harry Potter" broomstick with two huge fanjet engines using Gmax and then imported it into MSFS2002 so that viewers could see it in the sim. It was a very unique aircraft needless to say.

I was just watching that new "Worst Case Scenario" show and they were teaching a guy how to land a plane if the pilot passed out. They trained him using FS2002 and a CH Pro Yoke USB! The plane he was in for real was a Piper Archer II and the cockpit almost EXACTLY resembled the Dreamfleet Archer, which I thought was sweet!
