PMDG 737NG STAR Problem/Question

Featured Replies

Nedd a little help.During approach setup I select the assigned runway but I get all Stars shown, not only the suitable Star for the selected rwy. So, how to get the programmed STARS listed according the selected runway(s) in the SID/STAR file?I have tryed out the Tutorial from Terry but it didn't worked out. Thanks for any help on this

Depends on the data for the individual airport I think.I'm not 100% certain but I remember seeing an option in the STAR (and SID) sections of the datafiles to designate a particular procedure to a specific runway. If the person writing the datafile didn't bother to include that info the FMC won't know about such restrictions.

The SID part is showing right. No problem there. It's the STAR that's the problem.Following is in my SID/STAR data file:STARSSTAR LAKUT1B NAVAID LAKUT NAVAID MAROM NAVAID VTI NAVAID HK802 NAVAID HK801 NAVAID PODOM 2300 RNW 04LENDSTARSOn the airport (EFHK) there are 6 posible rwy's to select. And no matter what rwy i select the LAKUT1B STAR is showed even I have told it in the line it's only for rwy 04L.Thats the problem.

Mr/Ms Thats the problemPlease sign your posts with your real name as per the forum rules. Thank you.The NG does not in the 600/700 version have functionality to bind approach procedures with specific runways as far as I remember. In the 800/900 however you should get an FMC message if the runway is N/A for the approach chosen. You don't have the same selection mechanism as for SIDs however.Hope it helps,
