I recently bought the 747-400....I like it but i cant tune an ils freq let alone fly one. I read the manual about the FMS but there is nothing in there about putting in an ILS freq. Whenever i try to it won't let me. I load a whole trip in the FMS including approach but when i goto "ils: on the hsi, nothing comes up either.any ideas?thanks

Did you select an ILS runway on the DEP/ARR FMC page?- John

yes i did, i think i found the answer at another thread. I need to enter the freq/hdg in lsk4 instead of line 1.
