December 21, 200520 yr I was flying in somewhat windy weather from SFO to LAX tonight, climbing to 30,000ft in VNAV and LNAV, changed the altitude indicator on the MCP from 33k to 37k, pressed the button on the knob, and suddenly the aircraft started climbing, all the way up to 9k feet a second! the speed dropped but it finally came back down to normal climbing rate.Did I just do something wrong or is this a known issue?
December 21, 200520 yr What were you running with it. There's been some issues with the new FSIUCP version and winds, especially with external weather programs like ASV. There's an interim patch version of FSUICP at Peter Dowson's forum. Dunno if this is your problem or not, but it might be something to check into.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have.
