January 11, 200620 yr sometimes you can get severe icing which will cause this even with pilotheat and anti-icing on. using fsuipc i have set "just no severe icing"

January 12, 200620 yr If you mean a switch to turn the probe heat on/off, there isn't such switch in the 744.Probe heat is turned on automatically.Probe HeatFour pitot-static probes and two angle of attack probes are electrically heated foranti-ice protection when any engine is operating. Two total air temperature probesare electrically heated for anti-ice protection in flight.CheersThomas
