January 18, 200620 yr Hi guys,All these great companies like PMDG, and gates.to are bringing FS to its max possible simulation. Myself and a friend have worked FSNET and PMDG744 together for a long time now, and have found that it works :) Yes it works, there might be minor glitches, but it works!!Information as follows:Both pilots MUST be in the VIRTUAL cockpit soo all the switches work, and both of you can see and operate the switches at the same time. If one is in the 2D panel, and the other in the 3D, the person in the 2D can change things, but without the other person seeing it, although - anything the person in the 3D panel does, it wil be seen. When both are in the VIRTUAL cockpit minor problems may occur, for eg, one might have the demand pump switches off, and the other on, to fix this, one of you must go into the 2D panel and turn them on/off from the 2D panel, as you can probably tell by now, the 2D panel works as a type of 'fine-tuner' for FSNET. Best way for this to be minimised, is before the flight to communicate between yourselves and set up the 2D panels exactly the same, and this should cause no further problems in the 3D panel.Ofcoarse, there is a downside, the FMC does not work at all...but im sure one day it will be fixed. There are some bugs, like for EG, the FO might see the a/p disengage but in actual fact, it could still be engaged...Kind regards,Nick
January 18, 200620 yr Commercial Member Nick,Making the plane work with FSNet would mean custom programming to all the gauges specifically, which is probably not going to happen... You may however see PMDG do something similar on their own built-in. (Don't quote me on that though) Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
