PMGD 747 FMC help

Featured Replies

Hi Guys having been away from the Virtual flt seen for 2yrs Im retraining off line on the new (Great )PMGD 747 planes. In 1998 I bought EFIS98 which showed you how to load a flt plan into the FMC.Question.. can any one point me in the right direction for a manual as I have long forgotten how, and the demo flt from KLAX Cold & Darkdoes not explain how one can change runways from the original flt planLOL... ATC always picks a different run way, to the one in my flt plan I can create a plan in fsnav and Export it to PMGD's FMC but I cant edit the speeds or ILS settings..PS>> I read VATSIM ATC still having problems with pilots that dont behave like they should......any help Guys

The manual is available through your Windows 'Start' menu, under 'PMDG Simulations' or 'Precision Manuals' or something similar. For the purpose of your second question I am guessing you are talking about changing the active runway for arrival, but the same principle applies to changing the departure runway also.Assuming you have successfully entered a flight plan with a STAR and an arrival runway entered, (going on memory here) it should be as simple as going back into the DEP/ARR page, clicking on the selected approach to DEselect it and show all the available options, then REselect the desired STAR/approach/runway, hit the EXEC button and the plan will be amended.Again, this is on memory so anyone who can correct me, please do so!
