Does anybody know why I cant get the flight director to work prior to being airborn ? normally you should be able to have heading and altitude/vertical speed up and showing prior to being airborn. Mine only works when airborne ?ThanksPhil

Thats correct, VS will only work while airborne. Just like a real 737NG. Floyd

Mine only works when airborne ?>Can you clarify what you mean by "works when airborne"? Assuming the FD is turned on, you should be able to input values on the MCP (such as heading, altitude, speed) before take-off. I do not think you can set VS before you're off the ground.

On the ground, tuning the FD switch ON arms pitch and roll modes for engagement in the TO/GA and wings level when the TO/GA switch is pushed. Floyd
