737NG Auto Throttle will not arm.

Featured Replies

I just made this purchase. From reading the forum I see the AT not arming is a none problem. My symptons:I flip the switch and it pops back down. Sometimes the green light flashes on but it goes back out. Also, the N1 button doesn't function.I removed my startup flight and FS9 starts in the default mode. That seemed to work because the AT stayed on.My questions:How do I save a flight so when I start FS the plane is sitting at the gate with engines off?Help!! I want to have one sucessful flight. Thanks,Chip

Chip,It sounds like you haven't done your homework! ;-)This usually is a result of the engine driven generators being offline. So check your pre-flight checklists and give it another try!You might wanna do some search and research on this forum. There is an abundance of information about the NG in the archives.Hope it helps,

So much to read, so little time. Thanks a lot!

ChipI was told a while ago to make your own default start-up flight.Go to Create a flight and make one at your home port. One thing it MUST use one of the default FS aircraft, so use the Cessna.Make sure the local time and date is correct on the computer and on the flight you are making, and that your time zone is set correctly. You can have the engines and everything else off. I suggest leaving the avionics switch ON.Save thus flight as "Default.....whatever" in My Saved Flights and use it as your start up. You will find things work better when you change things.RegardsJohn

Thanks, John. I am all set!
