FS crashes when turning on panel lights

Featured Replies

Good day all. Whenever the panel lights come on or off during mid-flight, FS always crashes. If I start my flight at night (turn on the panel lights at the gate) it does not crash; only when the lights come on and off during the flight.

Jacob,It sounds like you hav some kind of texture problem. The time when your panel lights come on is when FS decides it goes from day to night or vice versa. This in turn means that all scenery change their respective day to night textures. At least that's roughly how I understand it works. This has not been reported earlier so I would take a look at my sceneries if I were you.Hope it helps,

I think there is a texture problem with my FS. At night the ocean is not an ocean -- it appears as the sky does (night with stars). There is also a problem with items on the ground (antennas, etc...); they appear to go down under the ground. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Jacob,No idea how to fix but to remove and reinstall your complete FS installation. Not much of a help, but if your FS textures are screwed up who knows what else is faulty?Cheers,
