PSS Airbus

Featured Replies

Hello guys,I have a PIII 700mhz, 512mb, Gforce2....getting old and I bought it not long time ago :(Well, the PSS airbus seems to be heavy (low frame-rate) comparing to many others planes. Is the a way to optimize it or it

Hi Ulisses,I have almost identical specs:P3 733512mbGF2 MX400Win 98 SEThe PSS Airbus is a bit of a frame rate killer but there are a couple of ways around the problem:1) Turn down the scenery sliders in MS. If you are using the IFR panel you can't see much anyway!2) Turn off AI traffic.3) Turn the panel refresh rates down (adjusted in the FMGS - see the manual).I have done a combination of the above and can get about 10 FPS which is just usable. By the way, my primary monitor is 1600 X 1200 X 32 (no AA).Andy (YSCB)New PC to arrive any day! P4 2.26! GF4 Ti 4200! XP (no more BSOD I hope)! Woooo hoooo!

Hy!Another idea is to re-download the whole package from PSS. They improved the framerates a few days after it
