I drove myslef crazy today trying to enter waypoints into the fmc, I enter N49W050 exactly like that and it doesnt work, so I loaded a co-route and they were entered exatcly as above. So why couldnt I do this manually?

I also tried for a while, both with the short version "N49W050" and the long version "N4904.4W05024.6".I finally got it to work by inputting it in the LEG page. Not the route page.Try if that works.

I put it in legs, but I will try the 4950N meathod, strang it is not mentioned in the manual.

Same here. Only done it once, but it worked like a charm.
