Assigning fuel cutoff switches to CH throttle quadrant?

Featured Replies

Hi...I don't have a response directly to your situation, but as I scanned the forum for help with my problem, I saw your's and it seems that you have done the very thing that I don't know how to do and would like to learn. I have the PMDG 747-400 and a registered FSUIPC. If I can find out how to assign just one function to my yoke, I can then assign other things. Could you (or someone) please walk me thru assigning the autothrottle engage (TOGA) to button#2 on my CH FlightSim Yoke (it's the red button under the right hand forefinger). I have tried and tried everything, using the FS2004 assignments, the PMDG assignments, the FSUIPC interface (within which I don't know what I'm doing). I don't know whether to use the "Buttons & Switches" tab or the "Key Presses" tab, or what. I've tried them all. I originally had the TOGA engage keyed to ctrl + Z (both in the FS2004 assignments panel and in the PMDG assignments panel)and have been trying to map that keystroke to button#2. Nothing seems to work for me. Now things are screwed up good because neither the ctrl+Z or the screwhead up by the A/T arm switch engage the TOGA in my saved flight situation. I would really be most thankful and eternally grateful if someone could walk me through this assignment.:-newburn
