Hi David,In RW the nosegear steering is available when the strut is compressed 20.3 cm, so on the moment of landing the nosegear is unlocked and can be used at high speeds. And this is modelled!! regardsTon

Hi, thanks for that valuble info. I wonder if the eratic steering im getting during take off and landing is because of the auto rudder that i have selected within fs. I find it difficult to stay on the centre line. Perhaps that is what i should have mentioned in the opening thread. David

FS doesn't model ground winds very well so its probably that. Theres options within FSUIPC to control this.
