Yes, that's my method. I import the C&D panel state that came with installation. I find IRS are set either to OFF or NAV position. If OFF, I set to NAV. If NAV, I turn OFF, then set to NAV. Never ALIGN. Also, I don't use instant align, but one of the other options.Note I'm not trying to state this as being a 'problem' per se, i.e. doesn't prevent me from using the 747, just how the YAW DAMP INOP lights behave for me. They always extinguish for me as I've described.Regards,
